Tell us about them.

There's no right way to do this, and no length it's supposed to be. Write what you can.

Most people who come here are looking for someone who has felt what they are feeling. They arrive at two in the morning, days or months after, and they read until they find a person who describes it the way it actually is.

Your story becomes that for somebody. Not because it is well written, and not because you have found any answers, but because you were honest about a thing most people go quiet about. Nothing here scrolls away. What you write stays where someone can find it.

And there is the other part, the part that is only for you. Putting them into words is one of the few things that makes the missing feel like it is going somewhere.

If the blank box is the problem

You don't have to start at the beginning, and you don't have to tell the whole thing. Pick whichever of these you can answer, and write only that. Two sentences is a story.

What other people wrote

Two of the most recent, so you can see the range. Some are long. Some are a paragraph.

You can put your name to it or share it anonymously, and you can ask us to take it down at any time. Every story is read by a person before it appears, so this stays a kind place. Nobody will tell you it was only a pet.

Sharing their story is free, and you can do it under your own name or anonymously.

You just need an account first. That way you can finish it later if you need to stop, come back and change it, or ask us to take it down whenever you want.
