Children often do not have the words for what they are feeling, and the grown ups around them do not always have the right ones either.

This page gives a child somewhere to start, a few simple questions and a space to draw, so the conversation has something to hold onto besides silence.

Sit with them while they work through it, or leave it somewhere they can pick it up in their own time.

Either way, it becomes something they made, not something that was said to them.
