Pumpkin
Pumpkin was the best dog I have ever had. She was so sweet and smart. We had so many adventures together. My favorite thing she did was to put her paw on my cheek while she gave me kisses. Every time I came home I was greeted by enthusiastic barking and a tail that wagged so hard it wagged her entire rear end sometimes. The past 5 years we had been treating her for seizures, but once we found the right medicine, she never had another. Even in her old age all the late night bathroom trips, all the mess cleanup and all the money was nothing to me as long as she was well. She was my baby, my babushka, my puppy wupples, my little girl. I am changed forever because of her love.

The day we first met at first Monday In Canton
My daughter and I went out to first Monday to look at puppies as I was possibly ready to buy one. When we got there we found one breeder that actually had dachshunds, but our hopes were dashed when we were told the price was $400, which o simply did not have. On the way back to our car we were both ready to leave when I found a lady on the grass with a blanked and 2 weenie dogs for sale. There I saw pumpkin and it was love at first sight. She has the most beautiful red coat with little black accents around her ears, nose and back. The price of only $100 was too good to be true and it was like she was meant to be ours. All the people who saw her were in love. I knew on the drive home she was going to be a special part of our family..
