Rudy
Rudy was a Christmas gift to me from my husband back in 2020. He was in a box way too big for his tiny size. I remember the first couple weeks I still had to bottle feed him. He loved to run free and bark at the Amazon delivery man. He chewed our couch cushions, and for the longest time we didn’t replace them thinking if we did, he would just eat them again. He always stayed by my side a very loyal companion. He did a little excited body shake when he saw family. He was the smallest and youngest of my three dogs, yet he would be the first to bark at an unknown stranger. At night he burrowed into my arms and legs and would just fall asleep. I’m so devastated at his sudden loss. I loved him deeply.
Light a candle for Rudy
A small way of saying: they mattered, and someone noticed.
You can light one again tomorrow.
Moments with Rudy
One of my last memories
I took the dogs for a walk and put my baby in the stroller. During the walk, Rudy bit my four month old’s foot in an effort to steal his sock. At the moment I was irritated but later on found it comical..typical of Rudy.

You do not have to have known Rudy. If reading this brought back your own, say so. People find out here that other people understand, and that is usually what they came for.

Rudy was an amazing dog and so lovable. He would burrow under your arm or wherever he could get snuggles.
He was playful, happy and a huge part of our family. He will be tremendously missed.
Rudy was so happy and loving. He would always get so excited to see my daughter and I. Im going to miss babysitting him and snuggling with him. ❤️
